Georgia adopts anti-crisis plan - government spending under reduction

June 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Georgian parliamentarians have endorsed the anti-crisis plan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Georgian press that in connection with the coronavirus, 84 MPs voted in favor of the anti-crisis plan, while there were not those who voted against it.

According to the plan adopted by the parliament, the government will spend 16 billion lari by the end of the year. The document says that due to the situation with coronavirus, additions were made to the budget. 3-4 billion lari will be used for anti-crisis projects. In addition, there will be a reduction in spending by various governmental agencies.
