Large staff reduction in banking sector – 771 people lost their jobs

June 25, Fineko/abc.az. The total number of employees of banks in Azerbaijan has been announced.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Central Bank's data for May 2020, 18,391 people are currently working in banks. For comparison, in April of this year the number of employees of the banks was 19,162.

This shows that in May the number of employees in the banking sector decreased by 771 people.
