Net profit of Azerbaijan`s banking sector has decreased

June 25, Fineko/abc.az. The banking sector of Azerbaijan received net profit of AZN 314.5 million for Jan-May 2020.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that the indicator is by 3.5% less versus the 2019 same term.

Banks’ operating income for the past 5 months amounted to AZN 1.062 bn (4.3% less against the same period of last year), operating expenses AZN 677.6 million (0.9% more), transfers for special reserves AZN 4.5 million (95.6% less), income tax payments AZN 65.7 million (2.1-fold more).
