Offer: Strict quarantine regime can be extended by another 2 weeks

18:24 - 30.06.2020

June 30, Fineko/abc.az. A two-week extension of the quarantine regime after 5 July has been proposed.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by President’s Aide Khikmet Hajiyev at today’s briefing of the Operational Staff.

He noted that the situation with coronavirus in the world is not at all rosy: "Uncertainties are awaiting ahead our country, there is no concrete answer to the question of how to defeat the virus. The coronavirus further worsens such problems as poverty, unemployment, and hunger.

According to experts, an unprecedented decline since 1933 will await the world economy. It’ll hardly be possible to relax in one part of the world until the coronavirus is completely removed in another part of it. After opening in some countries, we again had to go to isolation due to the spread of the virus."
