Giant company reduces 15,000 employees to avoid bankruptcy

July 1, Fineko/abc.az. European aircraft manufacturer Airbus begins reconstruction.

ABC.AZ reports that the company made a decision to take this step to get out of the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The worst part is that as the company is going to undergo reconstruction and will have to lay off 15,000 people. Thus, according to Airbus’ statement, 11% of the workforce will be reduced. The company informs that the demand for aircrafts has fallen sharply, and production will decrease by 40% in two years.
