July 3, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices are falling in Friday’s trading after their rise the day before.
By 9:00 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for September fell by $0.49 (1.14%) to $42.65 per barrel. At the end of trading on 2 July the Brent futures for September rose in price by $1.11 (2.64%) up to $43.14 per barrel.
By 9:00 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for August fell in price by $0.45 (1.11%) to $40.20 per barrel. Following the trading on 2 July the value of WTI contracts for August increased by $0.83 (2.08%) up to $40.65 per barrel.
On Friday, the main trading at the NYMEX will not be held due to the non-working day in the U.S.
