Oil cheapens amid data about U.S.’ reserves, and Brent is at $42.95 a barrel

July 8, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices fell during Wednesday’s trading amid the expectations of the publication of the data about oil reserves in the U.S.

By 9:30 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for September fell by $0.13 (0.30%) to $42.95 a barrel. At the end of trading on 7 July the Brent futures for September fell in price by $0.02 (0.05%) to $43.08 per barrel.

By 9:30 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for August fell in price by $0.17 (0.42%) to $40.45 per barrel. At the end of trading on 7 July the value of WTI contracts for August decreased by $0.01 (0.02%) to $40.62 per barrel.
