Russia sends support to Kazakhstan to fight against COVID-19

July 8, Fineko/abc.az. Russia has started supplying medicines to Kazakhstan to support the fight against coronavirus.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to news agency qafqazinfo that this was stated by Russian Deputy Health Minister Oleg Gridnev in an interview for TV channel Russia 24.

"The list of these drugs has already been determined, and humanitarian aid will reach Kazakhstan in the near future," Gridnev said.

According to Gridnev, the first aid plane took off for Kazakhstan on the evening of July 7.

It should be noted that in Kazakhstan 51,059 people were infected with coronavirus, and 264 people died of this disease.
