Oil keeps on falling in price, and Brent is traded at $41.80 a barrel

July 10, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades continued to decline in Friday’s trading and may end the week in the red amid the concerns about slowing the recovery in fuel demand.

By 9:20 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for September fell by $0.55 (1.3%) to $41.80 per barrel. Following the trading on 9 July the Brent futures for September fell in price by $0.94 (2.17%) to $42.35 per barrel.

By 9:20 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for August fell in price by $0.64 (1.62%) to $38.98 per barrel. At the end of trading on 9 July the WTI contracts for August fell in price by $1.28 (3.13%) to $39.62 per barrel.
