Prestigious company to reduce about 9,000 employees

July 13, Fineko/abc.az. Due to the pandemic, big staff reductions are expected at airline Emirates.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by company’s head Tim Clark.

He added that about 9,000 people will be laid off because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Clark noted that due to the pandemic, they will have to cut 15% of their employees.

"The global aircraft industry has been severely affected by the coronavirus, and operations have stalled," the airline’s head underlined.
