Oil gets cheaper, and Brent is traded at $42 a barrel

July 14, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades in Tuesday’s trading are lowering amid concerns about tighter quarantine measures in some countries.

By 9:20 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for September fell by $0.67 (1.57%) to $42.05 per barrel. At the end of trading on 13 July the Brent futures for September fell in price by $0.52 (1.2%) to $42.72 per barrel.

By 9:20 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for August fell in price by $0.75 (1.87%) to $39.35 a barrel. Following the trading on 13 July the WTI contracts for August fell by $0.45 (1.11%) to $40.10 a barrel.
