July 14, Fineko/abc.az. The list of families eligible for social assistance has been expanded.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the amendment of the Law on Targeted State Social Assistance approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

In accordance with the amendments to Article 3 of the Law (families eligible for social assistance), the social aid right will be given in cases as follows: low-income families whose average monthly income is lower than the aggregate need criterion for each family member for reasons beyond their control (disability of family members, care for a person with a first-degree disability of a family member who is able to work, a child under the age of 8 or a child with disabilities under the age of 18, full-time education under the age of 23, registration with the relevant executive authority as an unemployed person in connection with the liquidation of a state body or legal entity or the reduction of the number or staff of employees, his death, recognition by the court as missing or dead, imprisonment, unknown location of a family member).
