Azerbaijani company constructs a bridge in Europe - process underway


July 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani company Azvirt starts construction of Sava bridge in Serbia. Completion of the construction is scheduled for 2022.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to AzerTac that the bridge will pass over the Sava River and becomes part of the Romania-Sabac-Loznica highway.

This information was confirmed by the Serbian Ministry of Infrastructure.

Construction of the bridge pillars has already begun, and Infrastructure Minister Zoran Mikhailovich has inspected the construction site. The 1.3-km bridge will connect the 22-km Ruma-Sabac road and the 55-km Sabac-Loznica road.

The construction document was signed in November 2019.
