Rating on most popular Azerbaijani surnames in Georgia

July 21, Fineko/abc. az. The Agency for the Development of Public Services of Georgia has compiled a list of the most common surnames in the country.

ABC.AZ reports that surname Mammadov took the 5th place in the list -currently 14,864 people in Georgia bear this surname.

And among women's surnames, surname Mammadova took the 2nd place - 12,958 people with this surname are living in Georgia.

Another Azerbaijani surname, Aliyev, ranks the 20th among the most widely used surnames in the country. Surname Aliyev is used by 9,060 men, while surname Aliyeva by 8,960 women.
