July 23, Fineko/abc.az. For the past 6 months of this year the State Customs Committee ensured transfer of AZN 2.19 bn to the State Budget (by AZN 98.1 million or 5.1% more against the forecast).

ABC.AZ reports that commenting on the occasion, Vusal Gasimli, the executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, said that in the 1st half of 2020 our foreign trade turnover also decreased: "If not to take into account last year's import of monetary gold, then for the past six months our imports decreased by 5.2%, and our non-oil exports amounted to $911 million, down by $67.5 million. Amid the decrease in foreign trade turnover, the increase in budget revenues from customs authorities is directly related to transparency and legalization in this area."
