Oil prices rise after fall by 2% the day before, and Brent is at $43.46 a barrel

July 24, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are growing moderately in Friday’s trading after a two-day decline.

By 9:20 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of Brent oil futures for September rose by $0.15 (0.35%) up to $43.46 per barrel. At the end of trading on 23 July the Brent futures for September fell in price by $0.98 (2.2%) to $43.31 per barrel.

By 9:20 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for September increased in price by $0.08 (0.19%) up to $41.15 per barrel. Following the trading on 23 July the WTI contracts for September fell by $0.83 (2%) to $41.07 a barrel.
