July 27, Fineko/abc.az. At the end of June Azerbaijan numbered 440 branches of banks.

ABC.AZ reports that the figure is by 69 branches less than at the beginning of the year, but by one branch more than in the previous month.

And the quantity of bank branches has decreased. Thus, the number of bank branches, which was 133 earlier this year, has now fallen to 117. However, last month there were by 2 more branches.

So, since the beginning of 2020 the number of cash machines in the country has decreased almost by 78 to 2,569. But compared with the previous month, the number of cash machines grew by 17.

This suggests that after the closure of four this year, the banking network is gradually adjusted.
