Azerbaijan’s head met with vice president of European Commission for Energy Union

January 24, Fineko/abc.az. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met in Davos with Vice-President of the European Commission, in charge of Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič.

During the meeting the parties exchanged views on the Southern Gas Corridor Project and focused on holding of a regular ministerial meeting of the Advisory Board of the Project in Baku this February.

They also covered the questions of financing of the TANAP and TAP projects, the commissioning of the TANAP project already in the current year and the matter of production of the first gas within the framework of project Shah Deniz 2.
