Labor Ministry has reported about presidential pension recipients in Azerbaijan

July 28, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2020 the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor & Social Development paid social benefits to 455,400 people or 4.7% of the population.

Of them, 412,100 persons received monthly benefits, while the rest received lump-sum benefits.

ABC.AZ was informed at the MLSP for the reporting period that the Fund gave monthly presidential pensions to 287,500 people (3% of the population).

As a whole, in the 1st half of this year 743,000 people received social benefits and pensions. In this direction, the SSPF paid AZN 475 million that is by AZN 151 million (46.6%) more compared with the 2019 same term.
