Weather forecast for 25 January


January 24, Fineko/abc.az. The Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Environment & Natural Resources reports that on 25 January in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula the weather will be cloudy with weak fog and drizzling rain in places. Increasing north-western wind will blow.

The temperature will be +1-3˚C at night and +5-7˚C in daytime in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula. Air pressure will increase from 765 up to 770. Relative humidity will be 70-80%.

Rain is forecasted on districts of Azerbaijan and snow on mountainous and submontaine areas. Fog is expected in places. North-western wind will blow and strengthen.

The temperature will be 0-4˚C at night, +5-8˚C in daytime, -3-8˚C in mountains at night, 0-3 of frost in daytime.

The MENR warns that unstable weather conditions are expected from the evening of 25 and until 28 January, starting from northern and western regions of the country. In particular, precipitation, intense snow in places is forecasted. North-western wind will blow and strengthen in places. The air temperature will decline by 4-7˚C, compared to the previous days. There is a probability of road icing in mountain regions.
