Garden farms for low-income families to be created in 16 districts of Azerbaijan

July 29, Fineko/abc.az. Intensive gardening facilities will be created for 250 more low-income families this year.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection that the project aimed to support the self-employment program covers Azerbaijan’s 16 districts with favorable conditions for gardening (Astara, Balaken, Ismayilli, Lankaran, Oguz, Gabala, Guba, Gusar, Shabran, Shemakha, Sheki, Shamkir, Siyazan, Khachmaz, Yevlakh, Zagatala).

Those who own agricultural land in the above-said districts and do not have other jobs can apply for registration to the appropriate territorial employment center. 250 low-income families, primarily whose who have land plots, will be selected on the basis of the received applications. The deadline for applications is 1 September.
