Lending to industrial and manufacturing sector observed growth of about 50%

July 29, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 July 2020 the volume of lending to the industrial and manufacturing sector of Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 1.17 bn.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Central Bank, this means an increase of AZN 387.9 million or 49.5% compared with Jan-Jun 2019.

In monthly comparison, the lending to the industrial and manufacturing sectors of Azerbaijan increased by AZN 12.5 million or 1.1%. The share of lending to this sector in the lending to the real sector made up 8.1%. This shows a rise of 0.2 percentage points from a month earlier and by 2.3 percentage points year-on-year.
