July 29, Fineko/abc.az. Agricultural insurance is to reimburse farmers in different forms.

Such a statement was made in interview for ABC.AZ by Fuad Sadigov, the chairman of board of the Agricultural Insurance Fund of Azerbaijan.

"For example, a farmer conducts sowing work on his land plot. But in the early stages of development, when the crop is not yet ripe, a natural disaster occurs - a flood or hail, and the crop is destroyed. As a result, the farmer loses the expected income. If he has an agricultural insurance contract and the planting season is not yet over, the Fund will cover costs on its planting so the farmer could replant his crop and continue working without loss."
