A modular hospital starts operating in Sheki


July 30, Fineko/abc.az. A modular hospital designed for the treatment of patients with coronavirus was commissioned in Sheki on 29 July.

ABC.AZ reports that at the ceremony of its opening President Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the conditions created in the hospital. The new hospital has 100 wards and 200 beds.

After familiarizing himself with the hospital project, the country’s leader met with its doctors.

President Aliyev spoke about the importance of commissioning modular hospitals in the fight against coronavirus, and stressed that as a result of the work done, the disease has been under control in our country since the first days.

The head of state also focused on the measures taken in connection with the socio-economic development of Sheki.
