Flying taxi to appear in Germany – testing held

12:22 - 4.08.2020

August 4, Fineko/abc.az. Germany has tested flying taxis that can carry up to four passengers at a speed of 120 km/h over a distance of 100 km.

ABC.AZ informs that the news is reported by Travel & Leisure.

The flying taxi is called CityAirbus, is controlled remotely and is run fully on electricity.

The creators hope that in the near future they will carry people in cities, allowing them to avoid traffic jams. Each vehicle is equipped with four propellers. You don't need a driver to get around. In terms of social distance, this is an important advantage over ground taxis. In addition, they are virtually silent.

The car made its first flight in Germany in December 2019, having successfully passed the test. There is no exact date yet when they will be put into operation.
