Oil keeps on rising price, and Brent is at $45.54 a barrel

August 6, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades continued rising in Thursday’s trading after the rise the day amid the data from the US Department of Energy about the decline in country’s inventories.

By 9:50 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for October rose in price by $0.37 (0.82%) to $45.54 per barrel. At the end of trading on 5 August the price of Brent oil futures for October rose by $0.74 (1.67%) up to $45.17 per barrel.

By 9:50 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for September rose by $0.24 (0.57%) up to $42.43 per barrel. Following the trading on 5 August the WTI oil futures for September increased in price by $0.49 (1.18%) up to $42.19 a barrel.
