August 7, Fineko/abc.az. SOCAR’s subsidiary SOCAR Midstream Operations Ltd and engineering & mining services division Petrofac have signed an agreement on services to support the transfer of technical maintenance of the South Caucasus Pipeline.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to SOCAR that as SOCAR has undertaken the maintenance of the SCP from BP, the new agreement envisages services on the support of the transfer of operating assets.

Within this framework, the work to be undertaken includes conducting technical inspection of gas pipelines and other facilities during the transition process, providing extensive routine support during the transition period, during the implementation phase, and in developing a pre-commissioning plan.
