August 10, Fineko/abc.az. On 10 August, President Ilham Aliyev called and congratulated his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko with the confident victory in the presidential election.

The head of state also wished well-being and new success to the Belarusian people in their activities for the country's development.

The Belarusian leader expressed gratitude to President Aliyev for his attention and congratulations.

During the conversation the two presidents expressed confidence that the relationships between their countries are going to continue expansion, and stressed the successful development of friendly ties based on strategic partnership in various spheres.
