ACG production decreased by 7%


August 13, Fineko/ In the 1st half of this year it as produced approximately 91 million barrels of oil from Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Guneshli field block (by 12 million tons more), ABC.AZ informs with reference to BP Azerbaijan’s report.

For the 1st half of 2020 ACG production was less than 7% against the same term of 2019.

Over the reporting term an average of 38,000 b/d of oil was extracted from Chirag platform, 123,000 b/d from Central Azeri, 122,000 b/d from West Azeri, 66,000 b/d from East Azeri, 96,000 b/d from Deepwater Gunashli, and 53,000 b/d from West Chirag.

Stable production from ACG continued safely and steadily in the 2nd quarter of 2020. At the end of the 2nd quarter a total of 129 oil wells, 42 wells for water injection, and 7 wells for gas injection were operated on ACG.

In the 1st half of 2020 eight wells were drilled at ACG.
