Turkish Airlines announced amount of damage during pandemic

August 14, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish Airlines suffered losses of 2.234 bn Turkish liras in the 2nd quarter and 4.257 million liras in the 1st half of this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Turkish Airlines, company's ticket sales in April-June this year decreased by 67% versus the same term of 2019.

The airline, which temporarily suspended domestic and international flights in April and May due to the pandemic, has started gradually resuming flights since June.
