September 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan has announced the opening of exits from Baku to the districts of the country.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to news agency qafqazinfo that Col. Kamran Aliyev, the press secretary of the Main Department of the State Traffic Police under the Ministry, stated that today from 00:00 am the quarantine posts will stop their activities:

"The posts were organized mainly for the purpose of monitoring the restrictions imposed on entry and exit to administrative territories where special quarantine regime was introduced. But since these restrictions, with the exception of public transport activities, will be lifted from 00:00 this night, the process of checking motor vehicles and generally the activity of posts will also be suspended. Certain equipment and installations at quarantine stations will still remain there, as it is not known what the number of infections will be after this and what decision will be made in accordance with this. After 00:00 hours tonight, regardless of the place of registration, everyone can visit any city and district of the country, including Baku, Sumgayit, Absheron district. It is clear that not everyone has cars, currently only taxis are allowed”.
