September 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Working Commission on Tourism & Services of the National Confederation of Business Organizations (Employers) (ASK) has conducted a meeting.

ABC.AZ was informed at ASK that the meeting participants discussed the ways to solve the problem loans of representatives of the tourism industry and mechanisms of state support, approval of the Rules for Organizing Hotel Activities in Azerbaijan during the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19). At the meeting Azerbaijan Banks Association’s chairman Zakir Nuriyev noted that in connection with the sale of entrepreneurs’ assets remained in the closed banks, it was recommended to contact the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund and discuss with them ways to withdraw those assets of organizations remaining in banks. He noted that banks are currently restructuring existing loans until 30 September. At the meeting it was proposed to hold consultations with business supervisors on problem loans in bank and non-bank credit organizations.

Then the entrepreneurs suggested changes in the above-mentioned Rules, relating to the provision of one-year credit holidays and other support mechanisms.
