European Commission intends to deepen transport cooperation with Azerbaijan

January 29, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received the delegation led by Heinrich Hololei, Director-General for Mobility & Transport of the European Commission.

During the meeting the sides discussed the importance of Azerbaijan as one of the leading international transport corridors, country's role as a transport hub, as well as evaluation of the strategic importance of this work by the European Commission.

The meeting parties also stressed significance of regular dialogue between Azerbaijan and the European Commission in the field of transport and exchanged views about deepening of cooperation in this field.
