Georgian PM about upcoming tightening of quarantine regime by his country

18:49 - 7.09.2020

September 7, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia is going to toughen the monitoring of various types of indoor events.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.

He noted that it is necessary to strengthen control over the conduct of social and ritual ceremonies: "In particular, this control should be applied to closed spaces. We’ve seen a striking example of this in the region of Adjara, where large-scale wedding ceremonies were held for several months, and now this region has become the source of the virus. Therefore, strict control over the social measures in closed premises throughout the country will be tightened."
