MP forecast: Causes of decline in oil prices

12:28 - 8.09.2020

September 8, Fineko/abc.az. Once again, there is a decline in world oil prices. Brent crude, which approached $45 a barrel in August, is now offered for less than $42. The decline in oil prices is more related to a decrease in demand for gasoline in the U.S. and a repeated increase in the number of people infected with the coronavirus in 22 states of this country.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by MP Vugar Bayramov, when commenting on oil prices.
Bayramov pointed out that, on the other hand, many international organizations also declare the second wave of the pandemic and even that losses in the world economy will increase up to $35,000.

"And this means that if the pandemic spreads, a new crisis may arise in the world. Therefore, the recovery observed for the last 2 months in the world economy may just be a relative silence before the crisis," Bayramov said.
