Pension appointed to persons without waiting they reach age limit

September 11, Fineko/abc.az. Prior to the beginning of 2020 and over the past period of this year, 23,000 persons who have reached retirement age but are not entitled to a pension were assigned an age benefit.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection that those citizens were entitled to an age benefit at an earlier period, without waiting for the age limit stipulated by law to be reached.

In general, the number of old-age beneficiaries is currently about 100,000.
