September 11, Fineko/abc.az. So far, unjustified appointment of disability for more than 6,500 people has been canceled.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Fazil Talibov, the head of the Department for Public Relations & Communications of the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection.

According to Talibov, the annual savings of the State Budget on those unjustified appointments is about AZN 30 million.

The State Budget savings for the long-term period exceed AZN 700 million: "The referrals on 42 canceled disability appointments were registered by the Fizuli District Central Hospital. So, such facts as lack of confirmation of the information provided in the referrals issued to those persons, exaggeration of the specified medical diagnoses, inconsistency of the information collected in other electronic information systems connected with the citizen are established.

Such cases that call into question the reliability of the data indicated in the referral, make medical and social expert commissions be more attentive, as well as be more careful when making decisions about referrals issued on the basis of dubious, contradictory and incomplete information."
