Oil prices rise after last week’s falling, and Brent is at $39.94 a barrel

September 14, Fineko/abc.az. Benchmark oil prices are rising on Monday after a sharp decline following the past week.

By 9:25 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for November rose in price by $0.11 (0.28%) to $39.94 per barrel. At the end of trading on 11 September the price of Brent crude oil fell by $0.23 (0.57%) to $39.83 per barrel.

By 9:25 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for October rose by $0.19 (0.51%) to $37.52 per barrel. At the end of trading on 11 September the WTI crude oil increased in price by $0.03 (0.08%) up to $37.33 per barrel.

Last week, Brent oil observed a decrease by 6.6% and WTI by 6.1%.
