Moscow discusses matter of resumption of air links with Baku

September 15, Fineko/abc.az. Russia may resume flights from Moscow to CIS cities next month, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Russian press.

First of all, air traffic between Moscow and Minsk, the capital of Belarus, will be restored.

At the next stage, flights will be operated from the Russian capital to the Kazakh city of Nur-Sultan, to the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, and to Baku.

On 17 September the Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia will hold a meeting in connection with the resumption of flights. The meeting will discuss the requests of various airlines about resumption of flights. AzurAir has already sent requests to a number of Russian cities, and such cities as London and Cairo, Nordwind sent request to Istanbul, Red Wings and Azimut send a request to Baku, and Northstar, Utair, Rusline to Minsk.
