Oil prices rise amid API data about fall of US inventories, and Brent is at $41.15 a barrel

September 16, Fineko/abc.az. Oil price is growing in Wednesday’s trading amid the data from the American Petroleum Institute (API), which showed a decrease in US reserves by 9.52 million barrels at the end of last week.

By 9:30 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for November increased in price by $0.62 (1.53%) to $41.15 per barrel. At the end of trading on 15 September the price of Brent crude oil rose by $0.92 (2.32%) up to $40.53 per barrel.

By 9:30 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for October rose by $0.71 (1.85%) up to $38.99 per barrel. At the end of trading on 15 September the WTI crude oil increased in price by $1.02 (2.74%) up to $38.28 per barrel.
