September 22, Fineko/abc.az. The UK government may completely stop selling cars that run on petrol and diesel from 2030.

ABC.AZ reports that Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the acceleration of the transition to electric vehicles this autumn to give a boost to the recovery of the green economy after the coronavirus pandemic. So, although the government intended to prepare plans on this issue from this week, the issue is postponed until the end of the year due to an increase in cases of coronavirus infection.

Plans to stop sales of cars running on gasoline and diesel fuel will also be implemented in Norway from 2025, in Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands from 2030, and in France from 2040.
