Giant airline rapidly goes bankrupt - damage is EUR 500 million monthly

September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Lufthansa, one of the largest airlines, is rapidly going bankrupt.

ABC.AZ reports that the airline still cannot stop the decline, despite the support of EUR 9 bn received from the German government.

Besides, the company plans to lay off 28,000 employees.

In particular, the airline announced that it will render services on 610 aircrafts, sending 150 planes to hangars, as the number of people willing to fly will be lower than expected.

It should be noted that Lufthansa is subject to damage of about EUR 500 million annually.
