September 24, Fineko/abc.az. The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has revoked permits for flights from Yekaterinburg to Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that following FATA’s meeting on 23 September the Agency decided to revoke the previously-issued permissions to airline IrAero for flights to Azerbaijan.

In particular, due to the carrier's refusal, IrAero's permits for flights Yekaterinburg-Baku (daily) and Yekaterinburg-Lankaran (twice a week) were revoked.

In addition, the FATA refused to allow the Red Wings and AZIMUT airlines to fly to Azerbaijan. In particular, Red Wings was denied access to flights Yekaterinburg-Baku, declared as 4 times a week, and AZIMUT was denied access to flights Krasnodar-Baku (declared as three times a week).

Changes were also made to the permits for charter flights by Pobeda airline. The carrier has extended the validity period for charter flights to/from points on the territory of foreign countries, with the exception of the following countries: Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Spain, Israel, Italy (Rome, Milan), France, Cuba, Jordan, Latvia, Estonia, the Netherlands, and Hungary.
