Oil prices decline, and Brent is at $42.26 a barrel

September 29, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices are falling in Tuesday’s trading amid concerns about lower demand because of the renewed increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in the world.

By 9:10 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for November fell by $0.17 (0.40%) to $42.26 per barrel. At the end of trading on 28 September the price of Brent oil futures for November rose by $0.51 (1.22%) up to $42.43 per barrel.

By 9:10 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for November fell in price by $0.24 (0.59%) to $40.36 per barrel. At the end of trading on 28 September the November WTI futures rose by $0.35 (0.87%) up to $40.60 per barrel.

Last week, cost of Brent fell by 2.9% and WTI by 2.6%.
