Azerbaijan to increase food exports to some Arab countries


September 29, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is going to increase exports to Arab countries, ABC.AZ reports with reference to Yalchin Aliyev, the executive director of the Association for Azerbaijan - Arab Countries Cooperation.

He noted that in 2021 the country planned to export building materials to Oman, Syria and Iraq: "Access to these markets will be through Jordan. There are plans to export mainly foods and farm products. The business circles of these countries, in turn, expressed their readiness to invest in the pharmaceutical, petrochemical industry, hotel and restaurant business of Azerbaijan. Those investments are expected after the end of the pandemic, when investors come to the country and get acquainted with the existing conditions."
