EU gives again financial aid to Georgia

September 29, Fineko/abc.az. The EU has allocated EUR 129 million of financial assistance to Georgia to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the country's economy.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, two financial agreements were signed between the European Union Commissioner for Neighborhood & Enlargement Oliver Varheili and Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.

According to the documents, the Georgian government's anti-crisis plan will be supported with a grant of EUR 75 million. A grant of EUR 54 million will be allocated for the economic development of the regions of Georgia.
