September 30, Fineko/abc.az. “Claims that F-16s belonging to the Turkish armed forces shot down an Armenian Su-25 plane are absurd and another disinformation of Armenia,” ABC.AZ reports citing Hikmet Hajiyev, the head of the Foreign Policy Department at the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration.

He noted that on 29 September two Su-25 ground attack aircrafts took off on the territory of Armenia.

"Both planes crashed into a mountain and exploded. This means that the Armenian leadership gives out incorrect information to its citizens and the public. It would be better if the Armenian military leadership reported the second plane and its pilot, rather than accuse other parties. Armenia's statements about the participation of a third party in the conflict are complete nonsense, there is no reason for this," Hajiyev emphasized.
