October 2, Fineko/abc.az. Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President and head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, has held a video briefing for representatives of the foreign media accredited in Russia (Reuters, Voice of America, Financial Times, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Die Welt, EFE, ABC Spain, Bloomberg, CNN, France Presse, RAI, Al Jazeera, Al Arabiya, Der Standard, Asahi, etc).

ABC.AZ informs that the presidential aide informed the foreign media reps about the latest provocations of the Armenian armed forces. He noted with regret that there are dead and wounded among the civilian population, and brought to the attention that the enemy is targeting the civilian infrastructure.

Hajiyev also noted that the Azerbaijani armed forces, unlike Armenia, seriously follow international humanitarian law, and especially stressed that the information about the use of the civilian population as a shield by Armenians during military operations is reliable.

Then he replied questions from journalists and invited them in Azerbaijan.
