October 5, Fineko/abc.az. The execution of the order on conscription of Azerbaijani citizens for active military service from 1 October to 30 October 2020 and dismissal of active military service personnel to the reserve continues successfully, ABC.AZ was informed at the State Service for Mobilization & Conscription.

It is noted that citizens born in 2002, who are 18 years old on the day of conscription (including this day), as well as those under the age of 35 who are not entitled to a deferral from conscription for active military service, are sent to military units in accordance with the established schedule.

"We remind that young soldiers are not sent to the front, but to military units of the relevant branches of the armed forces – training centers, where they will undergo training and learn the secrets of military skill over the next 3 months, and then continue their service at their destinations," the SSMC said.
