Oil drops in price after a 2-day rise, and Brent is at $42.03 a barrel

October 7, Fineko/abc.az. Benchmark oil prices are declining in Wednesday’s trading, after demonstrating steady growth following the two previous days.

By 9:15 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for December fell by $0.62 (1.45%) to $42.03 per barrel. At the end of trading on 6 October the price of Brent crude futures for December increased by $1.36 (3.3%) up to 42.65 per barrel.

By 9:15 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for November decreased in price by $0.72 (1.77%) up to $39.95 per barrel. At the end of trading on 6 October the November WTI futures grew in price by $1.45 (3.7%) up to $40.67 per barrel.
